Australasia
Back in 2000, aside from our first (of many) long stopover in New Zealand, we spent a week or so in several different cities of Australasia -- Sydney, Australia; Chiang Mai and Bangkok in Thailand, and Singapore. Then in the fall of 2001 we were back in Australasia with visits to Phuket and Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Again in 2003 we stopped in Australia and took our first trip to Japan. In 2005 we spent a resort week in Bintan, Indonesia.
In May 2007, we spent 10 days in North Queensland -- Cairns, Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest area.
